In this tutorial, you will learn how to load a specific scheduled event on your registration page by adding a little bit to the page URL.
You might want to do this if you have an evergreen or recurring timeline but want to offer a registrant a specific date or time. Perhaps you have a JV partner promoting one event and want to ensure the leads they send are for that date and time.
1 Step Solution
Determine the scheduled event or schedule a new one using the timeline you are working with for the date and time you want.
Once that event is scheduled, navigate to your 'home' screen in the AEvent app and ensure you've scheduled Schedule -> Upcoming. Then locate the event you are targeting and click on the pie-graph icon.
Within the Event Details pop-up, locate the WebinarID on the left-hand side.
Copy this value, and append it to your registration page URL.
As an example, if you registration page is,
https://myregistrationpage.com/register
and if you append the value ?webinarid=12300194299.
https://myregistrationpage.com/register?webinarid=12300194299
Then, visiting the second URL, the page is dynamically populated for the date/time of the event selected in the AEvent app (because we've provided that specific webinar ID).
