How to Connect MailerSend to AEvent

Connect MailerSend to AEvent with your API key and verified domain to send transactional registration, reminder and replay emails via templates or custom text.

How to connect MailerSend to AEvent

Integrating MailerSend into your AEvent campaign lets you send transactional emails to your registrants through your own MailerSend account and verified sending domain. At any point in your timeline, AEvent can automatically send an email through MailerSend, using either a MailerSend template or custom email content you write in AEvent.

Before you start

To connect MailerSend, you will need:

  • An active MailerSend account with a verified sending domain.

  • A MailerSend API Key (also called an API token) generated in your MailerSend dashboard.

How to find your MailerSend API Key

You will need an API Key from MailerSend to connect it to AEvent.

  • Log in to your MailerSend dashboard.

  • Open the API tokens section (under Integrations or Settings).

  • Create a new token with email sending access, then copy the generated key. It starts with mlsn.

NOTE

Keep this key private. Copy it right away, because MailerSend only shows the full token once.

Adding MailerSend to AEvent

  • In AEvent, go to Integrations and click Add Integration.

  • Give your integration a name, then click Connect.

  • A small window will open. Paste your MailerSend API Key into it and confirm to finish connecting.

NOTE

The API Key is entered in this pop-up window, not on the first naming screen. If the pop-up does not appear, your browser may be blocking it. Allow pop-ups for app.aevent.com and click Connect again.

  • Once connected, MailerSend will show a Connected status, and you can click Test to confirm the connection.

How to remove MailerSend

  • Go to Integrations in AEvent and find MailerSend.

  • Click the trash icon on the MailerSend card, then confirm the removal.

NOTE

Removing this integration immediately affects any campaigns it is active in. If you are having trouble, try Re-Connect first. You can always add it again later.

Troubleshooting

  • "Test" shows failed: Double-check your API Key. Make sure the token is still active in MailerSend and has email sending permission.

  • The connect pop-up does not appear: Your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for app.aevent.com and click Connect again.

  • Emails are not sending: Confirm MailerSend is toggled on in the campaign's Integrations tab, that a verified Send From Domain is selected, and that the integration shows Connected.

  • MailerSend does not appear in a campaign: Make sure the integration is connected on the Integrations page first.
