Evergreen content is powerful—but not when it runs on autopilot while your team’s offline. The new Holiday Schedule ensures your automated (evergreen) events don’t run when no one’s available to engage live, follow up, or close deals. It applies to every automated campaign, whether it’s delivered through AStream, Zoom, or GoToWebinar.

1. Go to Settings → Holidays

2. Add your company’s upcoming holidays.

3. AEvent will automatically block your automated (evergreen) campaigns from running during those dates, on any platform (AStream, Zoom, or GoToWebinar).

4. All future scheduling respects this calendar—no extra steps required.

Good to know: Holidays now do two things. On your registration pages (page, pop-up, and inline form), your automatically generated recurring (evergreen) dates that land on a holiday are hidden, so new registrants can’t pick them. And when you add or edit a holiday, AEvent sweeps your upcoming events that fall inside it: registrants on those events are automatically moved to the next available date, and the overlapping event is canceled. You’ll see a summary of what will move and what will be canceled before you confirm.

If there’s no future date to move people to, AEvent warns you about those registrants instead of stranding them, and recommends scheduling a future event first so they can be moved automatically. An event that was canceled for a holiday can be brought back: open its event details and un-cancel it, and it will be left out of future holiday changes.
