Configuring Registration, Landing Pages & Advanced Settings

Updated this week

This guide walks you through setting up your registration form, configuring landing pages, and defining advanced behavior for your AEvent campaign. This step is essential, as the registration form is the entry point to your event funnel and triggers all automations.

Registration Setup

  • Open your campaign and go to the Registration section

  • Click Edit under Options to configure your form delivery method:

    • Code-level Form

    • JS Pop-Up Form

  • Choose your event registration type:

    • One-time Event Registration

    • Multi-Option Event Registration

    • Multi-Session Block Registration

  • Click Update

Designing Your Registration Form

  1. Click Create New Form

  2. Choose a template or start from scratch

  3. Use the form builder to:

    • Add or remove fields

    • Customize labels, placeholders, and formatting

    • Preview your form across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)

  4. Click Save Changes when finished

  5. Ensure the form is set In Use by selecting it and confirming the “In Use” label

🔌 Embedding Your Registration Form

  1. Go to the Code section of your campaign

  2. Copy the following codes:

    • Form Registration Code – Embed into your registration page

    • Header Script – Must be included to enable dynamic functionality

    • Optional: Countdown Timer or Dynamic Page Elements

  3. For replay, confirmation, and expired pages:

    • Navigate to the corresponding tab (e.g., Replay, Confirmation)

    • Copy and embed the specific dynamic elements

⚠️ Always place the Header Script correctly—it powers form behavior and personalization.

Advanced Settings

Navigate to the Advanced section to configure post-registration behavior.

  • Confirmation Page URL

    • The thank-you page users are routed to after successful registration

  • Expired Page URL

    • Set where users are redirected if they arrive late (e.g., 15+ minutes after event start)

  • Replay Settings

    • Enable and configure replay logic:

      • Replay Page URL

      • Duration replay is available (days/hours/minutes)

      • Option to expire at midnight

Routing between these pages is automatic based on the logic you define here.

✅ Pro Tips

  • Embed the Header Script on every page—it enables dynamic elements, tokens, and behavior

  • Schedule your campaign before testing your forms (covered in the next video)

  • Test your registration flow yourself:

    • Register as a user

    • Walk through confirmation and replay experience

    • Confirm token capture and widget behavior
