SuperChat is an effective way to engage audiences through email and WhatsApp messaging—and AEvent’s SuperChat integration lets you seamlessly tap into that potential.

Our implementation of the SuperChat Tool allows you to automate email and WhatsApp communications triggered by key webinar or event actions. Whether it’s sending reminders, follow-ups, or behavioral-based messages, SuperChat helps you drive attendance, increase engagement, and keep your audience connected throughout the customer journey.

Timeline Actions:

Integrating Super Chat into your AEvent Account

Log in to your AEvent account. From the Dashboard, go to Integrations. Click Add Integration. Search for Super Chat, and click Add Integration:

Name your integration as you see fit, and click Connect:

Now, go to your Super Chat account. Click the Settings icon, go to Integrations > Explore Integrations.

Search for 'API' and add API Key:

Name your API and click Create:

After getting your API Key, paste it into AEvent's pop-up window:

Once you click Continue, your Super Chat integration will be connected, and clicking test should get you a Successful result:

Note: You have to have approved WhatsApp templates on Super Chat, and email configurations to maximize Super Chat integration.

Adding Super Chat to your AEvent Campaign

To use Super Chat in an AEvent campaign, first go to the campaign that you want to use Super Chat on.

Turn on the toggle for Super Chat and click the cog wheel to configure your on-registration settings:

Upon registration, you can add them to a list or send an email OR a WhatsApp message:

Once you've turned on the integration, even if you're not yet done configuring your on-registration actions, you may now use Super Chat on your campaign.

Creating a Timeline Action to Add Contact To List

Creating a timeline action to add a contact to a list at a set time before or after your event is easy.

Within the timeline builder, start by creating an action and selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur. Select the audience you are targeting, then select your Super Chat Integration and Add Contact To List. Select the list that you would like to add the registrants to:

After clicking on Create, your action will be created and viewable on your timeline.

In the example above, registrants will be added to the 'VIP' List 5 minutes before the event starts.

Creating a Timeline Action to Remove a Contact from List

Follow these steps to remove a contact from a selected list automatically.

Within the timeline builder, start by creating an action and selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur. Select the audience you are targeting, then select your Super Chat Integration, and Remove from List:

After clicking on Create, your action will be created and viewable on your timeline.

In this example, registrants will be removed from 'VIP' list, 5 minutes before the event.

Creating a Timeline Action to Send Message

Follow these steps to send a message to your registrants using Super Chat at a set time.

Within the timeline builder, start by creating an action and selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur...

Select the audience you are targeting, then select your Super Chat Integration, and Send Message. Then you can select one of your approved WhatsApp templates:

After clicking on Create, your action will be created and viewable on your timeline.

In this example, registrants will receive a reminder message 5 minutes before the event.

Creating a Timeline Action to Send Email

Follow these steps to send an email to your leads using Super Chat at a set time.

Within the timeline builder, start by creating an action and selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur...

Select the audience you are targeting, then select your Super Chat Integration, and Send Email. Then you can select type your Subject and Body in the boxes that will appear:

After clicking on Create, your action will be created and viewable on your timeline.

In this example, registrants will receive a reminder message 5 minutes before the event.

Creating a Timeline Action to Remove Contact

You can also choose to remove contacts completely from Super Chat.

Within the timeline builder, start by creating an action and selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur...

Select the audience you are targeting, then select your Super Chat Integration, and Remove Contact:

After clicking on Create, your action will be created and viewable on your timeline.

In this example, non-attendees will be completely removed from Super Chat 5 minutes after the event starts.

How to reconnect your Super Chat Integration

If you are encountering issues with your Super Chat integration, it is possible that the API key issued from Super Chat has been reset or changed. If you click 'Test' and it is NOT successful, the first step we recommend is reconnecting your integration.

Go to your Super Chat account. Click the Settings icon, go to Integrations > Explore Integrations.

Search for 'API' and add API Key:

Name your API and click Create:

After getting your API Key, paste it into AEvent's pop-up window:

Once you click Continue, your Super Chat integration will be reconnected, and clicking test should get you a Successful result:

How to remove your Super Chat Integration from AEvent

If you want to remove your Super Chat Integration from AEvent, you need to navigate to Integrations, locate your Super Chat integration, and click on the trashcan icon.

You then will be prompted to confirm deletion.

(NOTE: Removing this integration will immediately affect its use with any timelines that it is active in.)

If you are experiencing issues with this integration but do not have the desire to REMOVE it, we recommend reconnecting it instead. This will allow its configuration to continue as set within your timelines.

Once you confirm removal, the integration within AEvent no longer exists.
