Using The Form Builder

Updated over a week ago

We’re excited to introduce enhancements to AEvent’s form builder! These updates make it easier than ever to create beautiful, high-converting registration forms:

Drag-and-Drop Editing – Create and customize forms quickly without any coding.
Expanded Field Types – Collect exactly the data you need with new fields like phone number, dropdowns, and hidden tracking fields.
Modern, Mobile-Friendly Design – Your forms now automatically adapt to any screen size, maintaining a sleek, professional look.
Timeline Integration – Connect forms directly to your event campaigns, automating reminders and follow-up across SMS, email, and more.

You can access the improved form builder by heading to Forms in your campaign and selecting Create New Form.

Let us show you how it works:

Go to your campaign and click Registration:

Click on Create New Form:

If your campaign is set to Multi-Option Dropdown Menu, you'll get taken to the builder immediately:

We offer templates for One Time campaigns. So let's set our tutorial campaign to One Time as an example. Again, click Create New Form:

You'll be presented with template options, let's pick the encircled one here:

You'll then be redirected to the form builder:

  • You can rename your form by typing a desired name over "Untitled Form" (Upper left side).

  • Different elements with different customization options are available on the right side.

  • Drag anything to the form preview to add it, customization options for the added element will be shown immediately upon being added:

  • You can change colors, font sizes, font family, etc., wherever applicable.

  • You can change placeholders, names, and labels.

  • You can mark a field as required or not required.

  • Delete or edit anything on the form builder by hovering over it and clicking the pencil icon to edit, or the bin icon to delete:

Once you're done editing, click here:

Once you've saved, click Add as Template. (The button to the left of the blue Save Changes button).

Name your template and click Add:

Your form should show here after adding the template. Make sure the In Use indication is there. If not, click the form to "Use" it:

Once the In Use indication is there, you can now grab your form registration code from our Codes section:

If you make changes to your form, please re-copy the form code again.
