MSG91 seamlessly integrates with AEvent, making it easy to send messages to attendees upon registration.

With MSG91’s intuitive interface and powerful automation tools, you can schedule reminder emails before the event and send follow-ups afterward.

Plus, with MSG91’s reliable delivery system and advanced routing, your messages are more likely to reach the right audience. Once set up, AEvent handles the automation, allowing you to focus on engagement while MSG91 ensures secure, efficient communication.

Timeline Actions:

Adding MSG91 To AEvent

To add your MSG91 Integration, you will need to first navigate to Integrations within AEvent search / select MSG91, click Add Integration.

Then name your integration as you see fit, and click 'Connect.'

You'll need 4 things:

  1. API Key

  2. Domain

  3. Sender Email

  4. Sender Name

To get your API Key, go to your MSG91 and click AuthKey(this will require SMS Verification):

To get your domain, you have to add and process it here, and here.

After that, you can put whatever you want as the sender email and sender name. Make sure that the sender email is under your domain.


Example: If your domain is mydomain.com, your sender email should be: whateveryouwanthere@mydomain.com

After you have the necessary information, fill up the form and click Continue:

Once your MSG91 account has been successfully added, you will see it's Connected, and you are able to click on 'Test'.

A successful connection will yield a positive test result. Congratulations, your MSG91 account is now successfully connected to AEvent!

Activating & Configuring Gmail For Your Campaign

Go to the campaign you want to use MSG91 on and go to the integration settings. Simply Find MSG91 and toggle it on:

We currently don't have settings for the integration itself. But once you've turned this on, you can start creating timeline actions with MSG91.

Creating A Timeline Action With MSG91

Go to the timeline and the day you want to trigger your Action/s. Make sure that the integration you want to use is active on this campaign (see how above ⬆️).

Click on the Create Action button in the top right to get started.

  • Selecting the date and time that you wish the action to occur

  • Select the Audience you are targeting

  • Select your MSG91 Integration, and choose Send Email

  • You can pick a MSG91 Template here, and fill in the params, like so:

Next, click Add Media URL, then add a URL for a file that you wish to be included in the email as an attachment.

How To Reconnect MSG91

If you encounter any issues with your MSG91 integration, for example: If you click 'Test' and it is NOT successful, we recommend reconnecting your integration.

When you click Re-Connect, you will need to input the required information again.

You'll need 4 things:

  1. API Key

  2. Domain

  3. Sender Email

  4. Sender Name

How To Remove MSG91

If you want to remove your MSG91 integration from AEvent:

You'll need to go to Integrations.

Locate your MSG91 integration and click on the Trashcan icon.

You then will be prompted to confirm deletion.

Once you confirm removal, the integration within AEvent no longer exists.


⚠️ NOTE: ⚠️

Removing this integration will immediately affect its use with any campaigns that it is active in.

If you are experiencing issues with this integration but do not desire to REMOVE it, we recommend reconnecting it instead.

This will allow its configuration to continue as set within your campaigns.
