To integrate Ontraport into AEvent follow these simple steps.

  1. Go to https://app.aevent.com/#/addIntegration and click "Add Integration"

  2. Click on Ontraport and name your integration

  3. Go to your Ontraport account and log in.

  4. Click on your profile icon in the top right, then select Administration. 

  5. On the left sidebar, click on Integrations then select “Ontraport API Instructions and Key Manager”.

  6. Click on the blue “New API Key” button.

  7. Name the API Key “AEvent”.

  8. Under API Key Submissions, select the Contact Owner. Then check the boxes for everything except “Create Key”. Click “Save” in the top right corner.

  9. Copy the App ID.

  10. Go back to AEvent and paste it into the App ID field.

  11. In Ontraport, copy the API Key.

  12. In AEvent, paste it into the API Key field.

  13. Then click “Yes, Continue”. 

  14. In Aevent, go to Integration in Settings and activate.

  15. Your Ontraport is now integrated into AEvent and can be used on your timelines

Troubleshooting

If you have any problems with your integration the first thing to test is press the "Test" button on the Integration. This will confirm if the connection to Ontraport is valid. If you continue to have problems, delete and re-add the integration.
