Connecting Your Streaming Platform

Connect your streaming platform to AEvent before building a campaign: add Zoom, GoToWebinar, or AStream, assign it to your campaign, and test the connection.

Before creating your first campaign, it’s essential to connect your streaming platform. This tells AEvent how your event will be delivered and unlocks available timeline templates for streamlined setup.

Why Connect Your Streaming Platform First?

The streaming platform integration defines how your campaign content will be delivered—whether through AStream, Zoom, GoToWebinar, or Aream. This is the first required integration before building any campaign.

How to Connect Your Streaming Platform

Follow these steps:

1. Open the Integrations Panel

  • Navigate to the left-hand menu

  • Click on Integrations

This will display all available connection options under Event Delivery Platform.

2. Add a Streaming Platform Integration

You can connect platforms like:

  • Zoom

  • GoToWebinar

  • AStream (AEvent’s native evergreen delivery system)

3. Add Integration Steps

Example: Adding GoToWebinar

  1. Click Add Integration
    ​

  2. Search for GoToWebinar

  3. Select it from the dropdown

  4. Click Add Integration again
    ​

  5. Enter an Integration Name (e.g., “GoToWebinar 1”)

    Use unique labels if connecting multiple accounts

  6. Click Connect
    ​

  • If logged into your GoToWebinar account, you’ll be prompted to authorize AEvent

  • If not logged in, you'll be asked to enter your credentials first
    ​

Repeat these steps for:

  • Zoom

  • AStream

If connecting a second account (e.g., another Zoom profile), label it accordingly (e.g., Zoom 2).

🔁 Assigning the Streaming Platform to a Campaign

Once your streaming integrations are added:

  1. Open your Campaign

  2. Go to the Integration section

  3. Locate your connected streaming platforms

  4. Use the toggle under Active to enable the correct one for that campaign

Only one streaming platform should be active per campaign.

Testing Your Integration Connection

To confirm your integration is working:

  1. Return to the Integrations Panel

  2. Click the Test button next to any connected platform

  3. A “Successful Connection” message will confirm everything is properly linked
